FIRST RESPONDER APPRECIATION DAY THIS SUNDAY

Lancers to honor local heroes with special game-worn jersey auction

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers have declared that 1/27/2013 will be "First Responder Appreciation Day" at the Blue Cross Arena! Show your support of our local first responders with a purchase of this limited edition T-shirt honoring the memory of our fallen heroes, and all first responders. Each T-shirt purchase will also include one (1) ticket to the 1:00 pm match vs. the Missouri Comets. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THESE SHIRTS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE WEST WEBSTER FIRE DEPARTMENT AND THE FAMILIES IMPACTED BY LAST YEAR'S CHRISTMAS EVE TRAGEDY.

Local orders for t-shirts will be able to pick up their t-shirts & tickets at the Lancers' ticket table in the main lobby of the BCA on gameday. Distance orders will have their t-shirts mailed to them FREE of charge, compliments of Spinning Webs Internet & PC Services, the official website provider of the Rochester Lancers.

In addition to the t-shirt sales, the Lancers will be wearing special commemorative jerseys honoring first responders to be auctioned off after the game. Proceeds from these auctions will also be donated so bid high, bid often!!
