Game 1 is in New Jersey on Saturday, May 13 at 7PM vs. New Jersey Copa F.C. Game 2 is in Massachusetts on Sunday, May 14 at 3PM vs. New England Mutiny.
(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers new Women’s team, The Lady Lancers, begin their season this weekend with two away games.
Game 1 is in New Jersey on Saturday, May 13 at 7PM vs. New Jersey Copa F.C. The New Jersey Copa are the defending champions of the UWS East Conference. Game 2 is in Massachusetts on Sunday, May 14 at 3PM vs. New England Mutiny. The Mutiny finished in second place last summer in the UWS East.
Head Coach and GM Loren Inglese and Associate Head Coach Sal Galvano have announced their team. Roster listed below.
“We are exited to finally be getting the season underway,” said Associate Head Coach Sal Galvano, “We have a good group and are confident in the weekend’s outlook!”
"It is important for us to play well this weekend," said Head Coach and GM Loren Inglese, "Starting the season off with two away games is always difficult, but the team has had a good week of training and they are excited for this weekend."
The Lady Lancers return home next Sunday, May 21 for their opener at Aquinas Institute. Gates open at Noon and game kick-off is 1PM. The Men’s team plays at 4PM. Season Tickets or Individual Game Tickets can be purchased at RLancers.com
