UTICA, NEW YORK. (Feburary 23, 2020) -- The lethal combination of Uros Momic and Cristhian Segura was just too much for the Rochester Lancers on Sunday afternoon.

Momic, a former Lancer, and Segura each produced hat-trick in Utica City FC's 7-2 Major Arena Soccer League win at the Adirondack Bank Center.

August Finn and Anthony Rozzano tallied for Rochester (0-19) while Brian Wilkin, who was outstanding in goal this weekend, playing in all three matches.

Despite the defeat, the Lancers came off their two best performances of the season. On Saturday night, they dropped a tough 6-5 overtime decision to the Baltimore Blast at home.

Momic, a standout performer on the Lancers' outdoor team in the National Premier Soccer League, put his name on the scoresheet at 4:18 of the opening period before Finn equalized at 8:05. Segura scored his first of the contest with only 43 seconds remaining in the quarter to put Utica City FC up for good at 2-1.

Momic added his second for Utica (13-3) at 2:44 of the second period before Rozzano scored at 6:23. But Momic completed his hat-trick at 12:45 to give the hosts a 5-2 halftime advantage.

Utica City FC and goalkeeper Andrew Coughlin blanked the Lancers in the second half. Segura found the net twice, at 2:04 of the third quarter and at 6:35 of the fourth period for a 6-2 lead. Moises Gonzalez completed the scoring at 7:58.

After playing three games within 44 hours this weekend, the Lancers will get a bit of a respite next week, playing just once at the Baltimore Blast on Saturday, Feb. 29. The game will be available on MASL.TV.

The Lancers have five games remaining this season. After Baltimore, they return to the Dome Arena for their final homestand of the season. They welcome the Tropics on Friday, March 6 and then the Kansas City Comets on Saturday, March 7 Both contests begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets for those matches can be purchased at RLancers.com or at the Dome Arena box office on the day of the game.
