Friday Night.  The stakes were high Friday night for both teams as the Rochester Lancers welcomed the Detroit Waza Flo to the Dome Arena in front of a capacity crowd. The Lancers HAD to win this game in order to make the playoffs! With Hat -Tricks by both #23 Jeremy Ortiz, and

Captain #4 Gary Boughton, and a goal by #19 Head Coach Doug Miller making his Dome debut, the Lancers won 10-5 against the Waza Flo. The victory, which bumped the Lancers record to 7-4, clinched the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Division behind the Chicago Mustangs.

Saturday Night. The Lancers last home game of the season was on Saturday Night at the Ide Family Field at the Dome Arena against the Muskegon Risers. At the end of regular time, the score was 7-7 with 2 goals each by #23 Jeremy Ortiz & #10 Michael Cunningham... but there are no ties in indoor soccer! Michael Cunningham from London England scored just 25 seconds into the Lancers first overtime of the season, as Rochester rallied for an 8-7 win over Muskegon at a sold-out Dome Arena. The Lancers then raised over $3,200 for Villa of Hope with their post-game live jersey auction.

Playoffs. The Lancers will travel to Chicago next Thursday, March 21st and face the 1st place Chicago Mustangs at 7PM for the Eastern Division Finals. The game will be streamed and can be viewed on both the Chicago Mustangs or Rochester Lancers Facebook Pages. The winner of this game  moves on to the League Semi Finals in California, to face the champs from the Mountain & Pacific Divisions.
