2019 Lancers Team Awards

 

Finals.  As Eastern Division Champs, the Lancers traveled to California to play in the League Championship. The Lancers came home with a 3rd place win trophy! 

 

Awards. The Lancers announce 2019 Team Awards. Head Coach Doug Miller and his coaching staff of Adam Schwartz, John Berardicurti, Rey BoomBoom Martinez and Team GM Marc Mandell agree with all committee choices. “This was a unique year with the majority of our team being indoor/arena soccer rookies.” said Miller.

Sahlens 2019 Lancers Indoor Rookie of the Year: August Finn

“Our Class of 2011 helped make this year’s Lancers very special on and off the field,” said SoccerSam Fantauzzo, “Jake Schindler, Gary Boughton, Jeremy Ortiz, Lubo Kocic, Enrique, Marc Sotile, Elliot Fauske and of course Doug Miller, are committed to this team and City.” said Fantauzzo.  

 

“Other Lancers Legends made our indoor return special,” said President Ashley Maria King, “Legends Marcelo Moreira, Jayme & Joey Kapinos. And outdoor Lancers Rafa Godoi, Isaac Kissi, Anthony Rozzano, Austin Gerber, August Finn, Zikret Zman Osmic, Alex Harling, Michael Cunninham, Mitchell Brickman, David Wright, & Andriy Demydiv were all part of the Lancers Family that joined us for indoor. New players joined our family as well this year, Domenico Vitale, Dan Reger, Alex Stephan, Diego Mayanga Baluarte, Tim Lazorko, Boomer Steigelman, Devonte Black, Jordan Sullivan. Outdoor Lancers Luke Pavone left our team for the Richmond Kickers and Will Stone had a scheduled tryout in Sweden, and Garrett Delves who left to play for Watford FC Academy in England were also part of our 2019 roster.” said King. 

 

“Our 6 Straight sell-outs at the IDE Family Field at the New Dome Arena was electric,” said Kayla Klark Kent-Moreira Director of Operations “The Dome Arena staff and Chris Cammilleri were amazing partners. We appreciate all the support from Rochester and Buffalo soccer clubs, Kids need role models and our Lancers players are amazing ambassadors of the game. Thank you to our amazing and loyal Season Ticket holders who believed in the indoor Lancers return.” said Kent.  

 

“So many key people returned to our Game Day Party and made our return special,” said King. “Joe Giuliano, Kari Miller & the Lancer Dancers, Jill Rizzo, Lyndsay Houghton, Donna Waasdorp, Chucky Arbore, DJ Vella, Dante Cilino, SEVideo, Gary Ronco’s Crew, & Matt Rapp. We also welcomed Megan Carter, Rebecca Dodge, DJ KeyYO, Jeff DiVeronica and Blaise Bourgeois to our Game Day Party.”
