Salvatore "Soccer Sam" Fantauzzo announced today on the "Kick This! radio show that the Lancers Men's and Women's soccer teams will be playing their home games at Capelli Sport Stadium in 2018. Sam reached an agreement with the Rochester Rhinos owners David and Wendy Dworkin to host their games at the Stadium. Sam was excited and mentioned "with the opportunity to offer concessions including beer, suites, scoreboard replay and free parking, it will create a great atmosphere for games."

The NPSL and UWS schedules have not been released yet, but the Lancers anticipate that they will have at least 11 home games between the 2 teams.

Last year's venue, Aquinas Institute was unavailable due to upgrades being made on the field, forcing the Lancers to look for a new venue.

Ticket information will be available as soon as the schedules for both teams have been released.

Capelli Sport Stadium holds 13,768 and opened in 2006. It has hosted the Western New York Flash of the NWSL, The Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse, and most recently the Rochester Rhinos of USL, as well as concerts and festivals.

The Rochester Lancers Men's Team plays in the National Premier Soccer League, the 4th tier of US Men's soccer. They finished 6-4-2 last season, missing the playoffs by 1 point.

The Rochester Lady Lancers play in United Women's Soccer league, the 2nd tier of US Women's soccer.
