This year's college season has come to an end, so lets take a look at the Lancers who played this year.

Division I

Sophomore Defender Nikkye DePoint (McQuaid 16’) started all 16 games for Villanova University, scoring 1 goal and 1 assist. The Wildcats finished 7-11 on the season.

 

Forward Lukas Fernandes (Churchville-Chili 16’) scored his first career goal for the Owls, who finished 9-8-1. He played in 10 games, and registered 18 shots on goal.

 

Division II

Junior Midfielder Rafael Godoi played in 5 games and had 2 goals, 1 of which was a game winner for the University of West Florida. They finished with a 7-8-1 record. Unfortunately for Rafa, he missed the last 11 games of the season with a hamstring injury.

 

Senior Captain Ben Allan started in all 15 games for King University, scoring 2 goals. The Tornado finished 5-8-2. Ben was selected 3rd Team All-Conference Carolinas.

 

Senior Defender Dean Byrne started all 17 games for Concord University, notching 1 assist. The Lions ended the season with a 3-12-2 record.

Division III

Junior Midfielder August Finn and Senior Midfielder Sammy Wasson both played important roles for Buffalo State this season. The Bengals finished 14-3-3, after losing to Hobart in the 1st round of the NCAA Division III tournament. Finn had 3 goals and 2 assists in 19 games, and Wasson had 1 assist in 17 games.

 

Community College

Sophomore defender Glenn Holmes scored 13 goals and 6 assists in 23 games for Genesee Community College. The Cougars finished 20-2-1, and capped off their most successful season ever by capturing the NJCAA Division III National Championship. Holmes was selected 1st Team All Region.
