There is no denying that Marko Mitrevski is a tremendous soccer talent, however he has plenty of competition in his own family. His father Dragan was a standout for Gates-Chili High School and one of the best soccer players I have ever watched. His sister, Lady Lancer Bella Kohler played 4 years at Roberts Wesleyan and was a NCCAA All American.

At just 19 years of age, Marko is the youngest player on the Lancers, and is biding his time, learning from Coach Doug Miller and veterans like Jake Schindler and Isaac Kissi.

What impressed me the most about Marko was his attitude and determination. He told me about a time where his lack of playing time made him reevaluate his approach to the game. He admits not deserving playing time, which made him focus of his abilities and being the driving force to where he is today.

He has aspirations to play professional soccer and I can't wait to see where he ends up.

We discuss him growing up with soccer all around him, international soccer and the upcoming World Cup, and who is a better player, him or his sister, Lady Lancer Bella Kohler.
