Pro Soccer In East Rochester!


The Indoor Rochester Lancers new home in East Rochester is sold-out for their home opening weekend: Friday February 24th and Saturday February 25th. The Rochester Regional Health Total Sports Experience venue will act as a unique boutique-style arena as the Lancers take on the Iowa Demon Hawks.

The original Rochester Lancers began play in 1967 in the American Soccer League. In 1970, the Lancers won the NASL championship.The Lancers began playing indoor professional soccer in 2011 with the MISL/MASL, and soon returned to outdoor soccer with the NPSL & UWS. And now in 2023, the Indoor Lancers are part of Major Arena Soccer League's second division called M2. M2 fields 14-teams this year, with teams playing a 12-game schedule, six home and six away, leading up to the annual Championship Weekend in the spring.

Jake Schindler makes his home field debut as the new Head Coach of the Rochester Lancers. Jake Schindler is considered not only a Lancers Legend, but a veteran superstar in both the indoor & outdoor soccer settings. The former West Irondequoit High School standout is a popular player with the fans, and a respected teammate of the players. He is a 12 year veteran indoor pro player, and he has already positioned himself as a great mentor & leader for the Lancers this season.



The Lancers are 3-1 this season, with 4 road trips already under their belt, and this weekend will rematch the Iowa Demon Hawks. The Lancers fell to the Demon Hawks 7-6 on February 5th and hope to secure two wins this weekend.
