John Bourgeois (Irondequoit '11) returns to the Rochester Lancers Organization this season as Account Executive. John had previously interned for the Lancers during both the 2013/14 and 2014/2015 seasons.

John was born and raised in Rochester having attended high school at West Irondequoit. He was a member of the varsity men’s soccer team which won its first ever Section V Championship in 2010. John later attended Keuka College ('15), where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a concentration in Sport Management. He was a member of the men’s soccer program from 2011 - 2014.

“I am pleased and excited to announce our new hire in John Bourgeois,” said Kayla Klark Kent-Moreira, Director of Operations “I have had the privilege to work with John in the past and I don’t know anyone that works harder than he does. He will bring knowledge of the industry and a love for the game of soccer, which makes him the perfect fit to our Lancers family”.

John brings a wealth of knowledge to the Lancers organization having previously served a number of positions in professional sports throughout his career. His most recent positions include working with the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League, where he served as an Account Executive for their Inaugural Season. Beforehand, John was employed as a Sales Associate with the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.

John has the distinct honor of working with all of Rochester's professional soccer teams. Throughout his college career, he served many roles including Group Sales intern with the Rhinos, as well as interning with the Lancers for two seasons. Following the completion of his Bachelor's Degree, John volunteered with the Western New York Flash. John was later appointed as the Head of Graphic Design and Game day Operations with the Rochester Riverdogz during their Inaugural Season. In his most recent past locally, John held the position of Account Executive and Graphic Design assistant with the Rochester Rhinos.

The MASL opens its season the weekend of November 22nd. The Lancers will visit The MetroStars of Canada. The Lancers Home Opener is on Friday, November 29 at the New Dome Arena, and will play a 24-game regular season.
