Defending 3 lines. Target, second forward are in the wall. Midfielder goes on weak side to help out with shooter. Two defenders are in the back which have to be ready for wide passes and slotting the ball to the low post. Responsibilities: We do not break the wall until the ball is passed. We must be brave to take the shot. If the ball is passed to the side the outside wall must go to block the shot. Once ball gets low one guy backs into the box to block shots and help defense, weak side looks for rebound/help defense then break out. We are in âDâ so it will be man to man and you have to body up.
